Over 100 young professionals attending this year’s Spring 2015 YP Mixer at Max’s Wine Dine in Austin, Texas. The event space, underneath the restaurant portion of The Dive, was rustic and earthy – a nice cool escape from the blazing Texas heat. A range of specialty beers and wines along with a variety of appetizers, including bread pudding bites and Max’s famous fried chicken were served throughout the night.
We had several of AIChE’s divisions and forums represented, including Fuels & Petrochemicals, Environmental, the Minority Affairs Committee (MAC), and AIChE staff. This event facilitated great conversation and interaction between the young professionals and representatives, which provided a means for recruitment and further knowledge development of the structure of AIChE.
