
Dr. MAN Yu Bon obtained a B.Sc. (Honours) in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham (2005), a M.Sc. in Environmental and Public Health Management (2006) and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science (2011), both from Hong Kong Baptist University. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Department of Science and Environmental Studies, The Education University of Hong Kong. Dr. Man has a broad research interest in the area of environment science, which included (1) Biogeochemical cycles of persistent toxic substances in the environment; (2) Soil contamination; (3) Health risk assessments with a focus on food safety; and (4) The use of food waste for culturing fish. He is an editorial member of Environmental Pollution and published more than 50 SCI papers with an h-index: 19. He was awarded the Silver Medal (Upgrading food wastes as fish feeds) of Salon International des Inventions (Geneva), in 2019.
