Engr. Veronica Luna brings over 20 years of industry experience, with a strong background in various phases of design work, including Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Engineering, and Project Management Consultancy, where she has served as HSE Process Safety Lead.
As a Fluor Fellow in Technical Process Safety and HSE Verification and Compliance, Veronica specializes in the identification, assessment, and management of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) risks associated with facility design. Her expertise includes conducting comprehensive risk assessments that support informed decision-making, ensuring safe, compliant, and fit-for-purpose design solutions for clients. She has been directly involved in preparing hazardous area classification (HAC) assessments for multiple Fluor projects. Her experience includes the application of the requirements from various HAC standards such as IEC 60079.10-1, API RP 500 / 505, NFPA 497 and EI Part 15.
