Timothy Nisi is an Applications Analyst at the IU Health Department of Radiation Oncology and is currently studying Computer Science at Purdue. He is Co-Founder of two companies that specialize in 3D-printing patient-specific solutions for the medical industry.

Nisi’s current research is focused on using super-computer-based radiation simulations to identify optimal radiation protection measures for astronauts during deep-space exploration. He is also interested in using machine learning to increase the accuracy of space weather forecasts.

Before starting his career at the IU Health Department of Radiation Oncology, Timothy earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Loyola University of Chicago.
