Sriram Iyer is a materials scientist and a Senior Director at QuantumScape where he specializes in R&D of advanced materials and processes, ceramic materials engineering, process engineering, development and control, and technical leadership.
Before joining QuantumScape in 2014, Sriram held roles as Development Associate and Senior Development Scientist at Corning Incorporated, Manager of R&D, Engineering, & Product Development at IceStone LLC, and Senior Materials Scientist at Advanced Cerametrics Inc. He was also a Research Associate at Rutgers University, focused on materials and process development for Solid Freeform Fabrication (SFF). Sriram holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Delhi University, a Masters of Engineering in Metallurgy from Indian Institute of Science, and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
