Srinivas Karra is an application engineer at ExxonMobil Beaumont Chemical Plant. He has six years of experience in Advanced Process Control implementation on industrial systems, two years in operation of chemical process Industry. He holds a Doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University. His expertise lies in the areas of classical and advanced control strategies, system identification, advanced optimization, multivariate data analysis and statistical process control as applied on large scale industrial systems in refining, petrochemical, pulp and paper industries. He has published on performance assessment and debottlenecking of regulatory control systems and various applications of model predictive controls.
