Shawn Jones leads technical assistance projects such as the U.S. Department of Energy Western CHP TAP and pre-commercialized power-to-gas demonstration projects for the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center (AERTC) at Stony Brook University. Prior to joining CSE, Shawn founded 50 Mile Energy LLC, an early-stage cleantech development company in Atlanta formed to plan, own, and operate community-based renewable energy facilities primarily on the East Coast. Before 50 Mile Energy, Shawn held other engineering & project management roles at Green Power Solutions in Woodstock, CT; Southern Research Institute in Durham, NC; Changing World Technologies in West Hempstead, NY; and General Atomics in San Diego. Shawn holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University
