Scott Mauger is a Senior Scientist in the Chemistry and Nanoscience Center at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR), in Golden, Colorado. He earned his B.S and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University and the University of California, Davis, respectively. He joined NLR as a postdoctoral researcher in 2013 conducting research on the scale up of organic photovoltaics. Since 2016 he has been a scientist at NLR were he leads research focused on formulations and coating processes for fuel cells and electrolyzers. Currently he is the director of the Roll-to-Roll Consortium, a multi-laboratory consortium funded by the Department of Energy. He also serves as Secretary for the International Society of Coating Science and Technology.
