Saeed Khaleghi Rahimian is a Ph.D. student of Chemical Engineering at the University of South Carolina. He received a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran. He has been active in the area of Electrochemical Engineering for almost 3 years and has 3 papers with related topics. His research interests include Mathematical Modeling and Optimization of Chemical and Electrochemical Processes, Parameter and State Estimation, Global Optimization, And New Mathematical Methods for Solving System of Nonlinear Equations. His current research involves application of Kalman Filtering approaches for prediction of the state of charge of a Lithium-ion cell under Low Earth Orbit condition.
