As Chief Research and Development Officer for Kimberly-Clark, Robert Long has global responsibility for the company's research & development, quality, regulatory and compliance organization. He is charged with identifying and advancing technical innovation that addresses opportunities to elevate Kimberly-Clark’s trusted brands.

Robert has extensive experience within the consumer products goods industry. He joined Kimberly-Clark in 2021 after holding senior R&D and Innovation leadership roles with The Coca-Cola Company, including: R&D Leader for Japan, R&D, Quality Regulatory and Sustainability Leader for North America and Chief Innovation Officer for the Enterprise.

Robert’s started his career at Procter and Gamble where he worked in detergents, cosmetics, paper products and coffee. This included 5 years living in Venezuela while working on detergents across Latin America and 3 years living in Germany while leading feminine care product development for Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Robert attended Princeton University, graduating with a Chemical Engineering degree, and obtained an MBA in Finance from Xavier University of Ohio.
