Oscar’s main area of interest is the use of mathematical models to improve plant operations. He has contributed to the development of process simulation, production management, energy and emissions management and real time optimization markets worldwide. Over these past 25 years, Oscar has guided Soteica through three disctint phases: initially operating as a representative and distributor of software products, following with a period of system integration activity, to currently solely being an industrial software solution house for the process industry. Its products include, Visual MESA the industry standard for Utilities Real Time Optimization and S-TMS and S-SOM for Production/Yield Accounting and Scheduling and Operations Management. Oscar is a member of AIChE since 1990.
