N. Leick has nearly 15 years of experience specializing in functionalizing (nano) materials and characterizing them for various applications. For over half of that time, Leick has concentrated on renewable applications of powdered (nano)materials, including material-based hydrogen storage, capture, and conversion of small molecules. Leick employs advanced characterization techniques such as temperature programmed desorption, in operando thermal conductivity measurements, and spectroscopy techniques to explore the utilization of electrified energy carriers like photons and plasmas, and the complex interactions of gas-solid, gas-liquid systems.
