Nancy is the Head of Risk and Safety at Ark Energy, where she is leading and developing the risk and safety framework for the company’s renewable energy and hydrogen projects. A chemical engineer with 20 years experience spanning operations management, safety regulation, quality, and change management.
Prior to joining Ark Energy, she was Operations Manager at the BOC Townsville site and later served as the lead for hydrogen safety at the Queensland Gas Safety Regulator (RSHQ). During her time at RSHQ, she spearheaded the development of Queensland’s Hydrogen Safety Code of Practice—the first of its kind in Australia.
She is a member of Standards Australia’s Hydrogen Technologies committee and represents Australia on the international hydrogen standards committee. She is passionate about creating a sustainable future and enabling the safe, effective development of the renewables and hydrogen industry.
