Max is a Helen Hay Whitney Postdoctoral Fellow in Feng Zhang’s lab at the Broad Institute where he uses structural biology, biochemistry, and genetics to investigate reverse transcriptases and their applications in genome engineering. He did his PhD research at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK in the lab of Kiyoshi Nagai where he investigated the structure of the spliceosome using cryoEM.
