Lisa Hein is a chartered chemical engineer and TÜV certified functional safety engineer with over 25 years of industry experience in both operating companies and consulting. She has extensive experience as a site-based engineer in the Cooper Basin, where she encountered several major incidents early in her career in the oil and gas industry. These experiences sparked her specialist interest in process safety in both design and operations.
Over the past eight years at GPA Engineering, Lisa has leveraged her expertise on numerous projects in the future fuels industry and in the design of projects piloting novel technologies. Currently, she leads a team of risk and advisory consultants at GPA Engineering, guiding innovative solutions and ensuring safety in complex engineering environments.
