Jung-Un Park is a postdoctoral research associate in the laboratory of Dr. Elizabeth Kellogg at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at Seoul National University in South Korea. During his doctoral study in the Kellogg lab at Cornell University, he focused on investigating the molecular mechanisms of DNA-integration by CRISPR-associated transposons. Leveraging this structural understanding, he is now engaged in protein engineering to improve the system’s capability as a genome editing tool.
