Dr. Morris has well over a decade of experience specializing in the analysis of atmospheric dispersions, fires, and explosions in an industrial setting with an emphasis on flammable and toxic materials. Her expertise stems from her chemical engineering background with extensive experience with hazardous chemicals, equipment modification and fabrication, programming, data analysis, modeling, and experimental research.
Dr. Morris is active in the Chemical and Process Safety community as a technical contributor and leader. She currently serves as the chair of the 60th Loss Prevention Symposia and has served previously as the chair of 10th Process Safety Management Mentoring (PSMM) Forum, and conference chair of the 15th AIChE Midwest Regional Conference (MRC). In addition to her technical contributions, Dr. Morris. strives for inclusion through her involvement in the AIChE Alliance for Disability Advocacy (ADA) and the Inclusion Diversity Equity Anti-Racism and Learning (IDEAL) committees.
