Jennifer Groh joined Eli Lilly in 2009 as a chemical engineer. Her first roles were as a development process engineer for small molecules, focusing on establishing continuous processing at Lilly. This included multiple types of reactor designs, separations unit operations and crystallization where she was responsible for technology transfer of these unit operations to the Lilly manufacturing sites. Jen transitioned to peptide synthesis, supporting the continuous process development, commercialization, and submission for the Mounjaro hybrid process. She led the engineering for several peptide assets prior to her current assignment as the Senior Director for process engineering for the Lilly Medicine Foundry, a first in kind GMP plant for clinical material production.
