Dr. Jayant Khambekar is a Senior Consultant at Jenike & Johanson’s Houston office. Jayant is heavily involved in consulting on various powder and bulk solids handling issues. He has worked on more than 200 projects spanning various applications such as polymers and catalysts handling, degassing, biomass handling, coal handling, mining, etc., and working on addressing various flow problems such as arching, ratholing, segregation, and flow rate limitations. Jayant has published several papers and also lectures on the storage and flow of bulk solids. Jayant holds a Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.
