Ian Moore has created and led global organizations that have developed and launched innovative, proprietary new products addressing unmet needs across multiple diverse industries including Coatings, Adhesives and Sealants, Consumer Products, Healthcare, Plastics, Automotive, Oil & Gas and Agriculture.
He is recognized as an inspiring leader who leverages his educational background, multi-functional experience (in Technology, Engineering, Operations and Marketing) and international leadership roles (including direct responsibility for business in Europe, China, India, Brazil and Russia) to build high performance teams.
Ian has more than 15 years of experience with full P&L accountability for both regional and global businesses and is currently responsible for the North/Central American and Andean region for Wacker Chemical Corporation based in Adrian, Michigan. His passion is driving continuous improvement and strong collaboration among multiple and diverse stakeholders.
Ian has extensive experience in working directly with customers developing long-term strategic partnerships and implementing robust business operating systems to drive operational efficiencies, revenue growth and profitability.
Ian is a mentor and role model helping develop talent across organizations. He is highly respected both inside and outside of Wacker and leads with integrity and trust.
Ian holds a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester; Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), where he graduated with First Class Honours. He also holds both a Masters and Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from UMIST.
