Gary is a Sr. Principal Engineer at Abbott Nutrition with responsibilities for the technical transfer from R&D to commercial, optimization of manufacturing processes, and identification and evaluation of new technologies. He attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and received his BS in Chemical Engineering.
He joined Abbott in 2008 and over the course of that time he has assisted with and led the development, installation, and commissioning teams for wet processing systems including batching, pasteurization, and aseptic ultra-high temperature processing as well as process engineering support for the introduction of new products.
Prior to joining Abbott, Gary worked for 8 years between Scotts Miracle-Gro and MetaMateria performing process and product development activities and manufacturing scale-up.
He lives near Columbus, OH with his family, wife and 2 boys. In his spare time, recently he has been teaching himself about Bitcoin and adoption of the technology by building and running a Lightning Network node.
