Emmanuel received his PhD in Chemical Engineering at Rowan University in 2023, where he worked with Prof. Kirti Yenkie. He previously obtained his BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2017. His doctoral work focused on Process Systems Engineering (PSE), Machine Learning (ML) and Sustainability Assessment (SA), and their applications to the design of solvent recovery systems, wastewater treatment network synthesis and design, and life cycle impact metrics prediction for sustainable chemical process design. Emmanuel is currently a postdoctoral research associate in the Maravelias Lab at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Princeton University where he is working on biomass conversion to novel fuels, biochemicals, and advanced carbon materials using PSE
