Christian Plume is a certified Senior Project Manager (IPMA® Level B) at Siemens Energy, bringing over 20 years of industry experience in multidisciplinary engineering, particularly in complex hydrogen and electrolysis projects. His expertise spans project management, technical engineering and stakeholder collaboration, enabling him to deliver innovative solutions that drive sustainability and efficiency.

Currently serving as the deputy head of project management at Sustainable Energy Systems, Christian specializes in leading high-impact projects, including the 100 MW Hamburg Green Hydrogen Hub Electrolysis Project (HGHH) or the 54 MW Hy4Chem project for BASF in Germany. 

Before his current role, Christian held various positions within Siemens and Siemens Energy, including Project Engineering Manager and Team Lead in Mechanical Engineering, where he successfully managed significant national and international projects. 

Christian is passionate about driving the transition to sustainable energy solutions and is committed to leveraging his technical and commercial expertise to ensure the successful execution of impactful projects. He holds a degree as a graduate engineer (FH) in Building Systems Engineering from Reinhold-Würth-University of Applied Sciences, Kuenzelsau, Germany, with a focus on project management and renewable energies, as well as a degree as an energy electronics engineer.
