Brian is a Senior Process Automation Manager for The Dow Chemical Company. In 1996, he earned his bachelors of science degrees in computer science and chemical engineering from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Until 2001, Brian worked for Union Carbide Corporation starting with automation of packaging facilities. In 1998, Brian started working on advanced control applications. Brian joined Dow in 2001 with the merger between TDCC and UCC. Since that time, Brian has served in a global capacity as an implementer, reviewer, lead, mentor and coach for advanced control and optimization applications. Additionally, Brian has been a campus recruiter and on-site interviewer for traditional process automation openings as well as advanced control and optimization roles. Brian currently offices in western Houston at Dow’s Houston Engineering Center.
