
With 29 years of industry experience, Alessandra has been part of Ryder Scott since 2024. She is a Senior Petroleum Engineer in the sustainability team, focused on carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) project certifications, natural hydrogen exploration studies, oil and gas field studies, and unconventional field optimization studies. She holds expertise in petrophysics and reservoir simulation. Prior to joining Ryder Scott, she worked internationally for Shell for 17 years, later joining Equinor’s DWGOM exploration group. She more recently worked as a consultant at Geostock Sandia, where she focused on preparing US EPA class I and class VI CO2 injection well permit applications, as well as underground injection dynamic reservoir studies. Alessandra holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston, an M.Sc. in Energy from Heriot-Watt University, and a B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
