Minority Affairs Community's Distinguished Service Award

This award recognizes an AIChE member for sustained service and outstanding achievements that advance the goals of the Minority Affairs Community. Among these goals is reducing the underrepresentation of minorities in the Institute, the chemical engineering profession, and engineering as a whole.

Nomination Instructions
This award is selected annually from nominations received by the MAC Awards Committee.  A complete nomination must be submitted by an AIChE member and include the following components:
 
1. One (1) statement by nominator indicating nominee’s contributions to the AIChE Minority Affairs Community, especially highlighting efforts to reduce underrepresentation of minorities in the chemical engineering profession and the impact of those efforts
2. Nominee’s CV or resume
