George Stephanopoulos Award in Process Systems Engineering

Recognizes outstanding lifetime contributions to process systems engineering. This award is co-sponsored by the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, the EFCE Working Party on Computer Aided Process Engineering (CAPE), and the AIChE CAST Division. In odd-numbered years, the AIChE CAST Division will organize the nomination and selection process. EFCE-CAPE will organize the nomination and selection process in even-numbered years. The recipient need not be a member of AIChE. A recipient may receive this Award only once.

The award is presented at the CAST Division dinner at the AIChE Annual Meeting in odd-numbered years.

There will be one winner in 2025.  The winner will receive:

  • A plaque and $3,500 and $500 travel allowance.

Nominee Requirements

  • Electronic submission of a single PDF file consisting of the nomination form, nomination letter, CV, and supporting letters should be sent to the CAST Second Vice-Chair, Ashlee Ford Versypt
  • If you would like to re-nominate a candidate, you should submit an updated nomination to CAST in odd-numbered years or to the EFCE WP CAPE in even-numbered years.
