Lance received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from St. John's University in Collegeville, MN in 2009. He is currently in his third-year as a PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN where he works on the development of plasma-synthesized materials for third-generation photovoltaics.
