
Dr. Banerjee presently is an Executive Consultant to the nuclear power industry and is leading the effort to develop the project execution plan to negotiate the engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) contract and to prepare the loan application to the US DOE for a new $10 billion plus, new nuclear power plant. Until July 2008, Dr. Banerjee was the Chief Operating Officer of Delta-T, a company building over 30 ethanol plants. He is a highly qualified executive and has over 25 years domestic and international experience in project development, financing, engineering, construction and operations within the nuclear and fossil power generation industry. His experience includes successfully managing fossil and nuclear power projects in the US, China, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom and Canada. Previously he was Vice President for Construction and Operations for Pinnacle West Energy Corporation where he was responsible for a 5 year 2600MW power generation expansion program, and Vice President of Stone & Webster International where he was responsible for design, construction and operations on numerous nuclear power projects. Dr. Banerjee is a licensed engineer with a Ph.D. from Cornell, an MS from the University of Detroit and a BS from IIT, Kharagpur.
