Devashish received his PhD in Chemical Engineering at MIT in 2024, where he worked with Prof. Pat Doyle. He previously obtained a BTech (Hons) in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) in 2019, and MS (Chemical Engineering Practice) at MIT in 2022. His doctoral work in the Doyle group focused on the development of novel hydrogel materials for the sequestration and destruction of micropollutants in water, also aiming at the commercial application of this technology.
