Qiang Dai

Dr. Dai is an Energy Systems Analyst at Argonne, where she researches sustainable lithium-ion battery production, assembly, use, and recycling. In 2017, she began developing Argonne’s EverBatt model to examine the cost and environmental impact of a battery through every stage of its life cycle. EverBatt won a R&D 100 Award in 2019. Dai works at the ReCell Center, the U.S. Department of Energy’s advanced battery recycling center, headquartered at Argonne.
