Kyle Daniels

Kyle Daniels graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland-College Park where he worked in the lab of Dorothy Beckett. Kyle completed his PhD research at Duke University with Terrence Oas, and his postdoctoral research at University of California-San Francisco with Wendell Lim. He is the recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship, and Burroughs Wellcome Fund Postdoctoral Enrichment Program Felowship. Zibo Chen

Zibo Chen is an assistant professor in the School of Life Sciences at Westlake University. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Life Sciences with First Class Honours from National University of Singapore, received his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry in the labs of David Baker and Frank DiMaio at the University of Washington, and did postdoctoral work in mammalian synthetic biology with Michael Elowitz at Caltech. Paul E. Sheehan

Dr. Paul Sheehan joined ARPA-H in February 2023 from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), where he was a Program Manager in the Biological Technologies Office. His research at that time focused on leveraging developments in synthetic biology to detect and address threats to human health, including novel pathogens in the environment and microbial imbalances in the gut.
