John Currie, PhD, is a Senior Process Safety Manager at The Dow Chemical Company (Email: john.s.currie@dow.com). As part of this role, he is the owner of the Greenbelt Standard, which provides corporation-level support for sites and businesses in establishing and maintaining buffer zones. He also supports higher-level safety studies as part of the Process Safety Expertise Center through consequence modeling analysis.
