Professor Bernard J. Van Wie received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Oklahoma State University, all in Chemical Engineering. He joined the faculty at Washington State University in 1983 and his current research topics include biotechnology (biosensors and bioanalytical devices), cell and tissue culture, and engineering education research. Dr. Lucas Landherr joined the Chemical Engineering Department of Northeastern University in the fall of 2012, and has since been conducting engineering education research into novel teaching techniques for undergraduate and K-12 STEM education.
