Tom has been a member of the Hydrogen Safety Panel since 2015. He graduated valedictorian from Villanova University as a Chemical Engineer in 1983. He promptly began working for Air Products and Chemicals designing industrial gas systems (nitrogen, oxygen, argon, helium, and hydrogen). Mr. Farese is currently the owner and operator of Durham Consulting LLC. A consulting company specializing in hydrogen systems. Prior to starting Durham Consulting Mr. Farese was an employee of Air Products from 1989 to 2023 and was the Technical Manager for Operations supporting the Hydrogen for Mobility and Advanced Systems teams. Responsibilities included providing technical oversight and direction to the Operations, Engineering and Commercial teams on the design, installation and maintenance of high-pressure hydrogen equipment and hydrogen fueling stations.
