Dr. Simmons is the Director of the Biological Systems and Engineering Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (biosciences.lbl.gov). Jhud Mikhail Aberilla

Dr Jhud Mikhail Aberilla is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of the Philippines Diliman. After obtaining his PhD from the University of Manchester, he has established the Sustainable Production and Responsible Consumption research laboratory which currently hosts 20 students. His research interests include on life cycle assessment, systems modelling and simulation, and sustainability in engineering education and policy. Yogendra Shastri

Yogendra Shastri is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Powai Mumbai. He did B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from LIT Nagpur, M.Tech. in Systems and Control Engineering from IIT Bombay, and PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Sherif is a PhD candidate in the department of chemical and biological engineering at Drexel University under supervision of Professor Jason Baxter. In his thesis work, Sherif evaluates the life cycle environmental and human health impacts associated with deploying renewable energy system technologies, particularly incumbent and emerging solar photovoltaic systems.
