Traditional plastics have been known to cause severe environmental damage, due to issues such as the leakage of toxic chemicals and the difficulty of waste treatment. The Eliminating Plastic Waste Roadmap event brings together scientists, engineers and other stakeholders to discuss and share ideas, innovations and achievements for helping to eliminate plastic waste as well as taking future steps to ensure the amount of plastic waste will not increase in the future.
