Sharon Beshouri is a native of Michigan and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude as a Chemistry major from Kalamazoo College. She received her PhD in Chemistry from Purdue University then accepted a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California at Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory.
