Götz Veser is Nickolas A. DeCecco Professor of Chemical Engineering in the Swanson School of Engineering and associate director of the Center for Energy at the University of Pittsburgh. He obtained a Diploma in chemical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (now Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), and a PhD in physical chemistry at the Fritz Haber Institute, Berlin, both in Germany.
