Sheena Reeves

While her friends graduated and started families, Reeves made the tough decision to further her education — a decision she’s glad she made. As a 2016 nominee for teacher of the year in the Roy G. Perry College of Engineering at Prairie View A&M Univ., it would seem her students are happy, too. Reeves is an assistant professor in Prairie View’s Chemical Engineering Dept., where she enjoys working with a diverse student body.

Rebekah Scheuerle

I lead technical development for JustMilk (501(c)3), a US-based non-profit developing a device that delivers medicines or nutrients to infants during breastfeeding. The project aims to increase access to paediatric medicines globally, by providing a hygienic and accurate drug delivery system which could be especially helpful in low-resource settings. We are expanding to potentially include applications in western markets, and in this regard I have co-founded JustMilk Limited in the UK.
