Dr. Orlin Velev is S. Frank and Doris Culberson Distinguished Professor at NC State University. He has contributed more than 200 publications and has presented more than 230 invited presentations. Velev has been elected to an ACS Fellow and MRS Fellow and has received numerous national awards. He has established a record of innovative research in colloids and nanostructures with electrical and photonic functionality, biosensors, microfluidics, nanomanufacturing and responsive materials.
