The AIChE Design Institute for Emergency Relief Systems (DIERS) was founded in 1976 as a consortium of companies to evaluate existing methods to design emergency relief systems for runaway reactions and to develop additional technology as needed.

Communicating Technical Concepts – The session chairs are interested in papers and presentations that describe approaches or programs designed to help facilitate the communication of technical engineering concepts and/or EHS related topics to internal and external non-technical stake holders (e.g. management, employees, regulators, education, and or public forms).

Perspectives on Process Safety from Around the World

Regional Perspective on Process Safety (RPPS) is consists of sessions that strives to provide a space for different regions around the world to get together at the Global Congress and discuss the issues that are significantly impacting the development in Process Safety in their regions, considering the particular needs of language, and cultural characteristics of each one.
