Sta-Pure gasket

The Sta-Pure gasket provides excellent dimensional stability, which is crucial for increasing sealing reliability in critical bioprocess applications. Its design uses a patent-pending, 100% expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (EPTFE) microstructure that helps achieve the low particulation/spalation and leachable/extractable profiles required for aseptic processing. Its durable construction enables it to withstand repeated clean-in-place/sanitize-in-place (CIP/SIP) cycles.

Diaphragm-Valve Actuator

This sanitary diaphragm-valve actuator comes standard with lightweight thermoplastic/stainless-steel hybrid construction. Optional full stainless-steel construction is available. Its three actuator heads cover sizes 0.5–2.0 in. The actuator has a swivel feature that allows a 360-deg. orientation of the air inlet — the actuator flips, allowing easy access for changing product functions.

Custom-molded Pharma fabricated tubing assemblies

Custom-molded Pharma fabricated tubing assemblies simplify manufacturing. They are produced to the customer’s exact specifications, using silicone tubing with a variety of connectors, including the manufacturer’s Silastic biomedical-grade elastomer. Compared with assemblies fabricated onsite, these reduce costs and lower the risk of contamination.

AdvantaFlex biopharmaceutical-grade tubing

Suitable for media and viral filling and sampling applications, AdvantaFlex biopharmaceutical-grade tubing can be aseptically sealed in seconds. The material can be welded directly to biobag containers, which eliminates the need for silicone tubing grafts. It contains fewer extractables than other tubing and complies with USP Class VI, FDA, ISO and European Pharmacopoeia standards. It has been formulated for low permeability and is free of silicone oils and animal-derived ingredients. Complete validation and extractables test portfolios are available.

CleanFLOW ball valves

CleanFLOW ball valves are engineered to be a piping component to specifically meet the demanding processes found in the pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, cosmetics, food and other industries, where particle generation and contamination can threaten the outcome of the product. The port opening of the valve’s flow path is dimensionally identical to the adjacent tubing. This “Tube-ID” feature provides predictable flowrates and pressure drops and ensures thorough cleaning and full drainability as mandated by ASME/BPE.

Continuous Drug Pelleting system

The Continuous Drug Pelleting system fully integrates extrusion and spheronization processes to continuously convert drug formulations into free-flowing spheres of a controlled shape and size. Its compact Type 316 stainless steel design makes it suitable for use in good manufacturing practice (GMP) suites. Its components, which are easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance, include a PLC-based control system with the manufacturer’s XT-CDP CFR 21, Part 11-compliant controls.

mixing paddle scraper

This mixing paddle scraper is lightweight, durable and made from FDA-approved materials. Its solid, one-piece polypropylene construction reduces the potential for bacterial contamination. This tool, which features a T-grip handle and has tapered edges, can efficiently mix products and scrape tubs and vats without damaging the work surface. It is available with or without holes, in two lengths, and in five different colors.

Bohle Tablet Coater

The Bohle Tablet Coater (BTC) reduces processing times up to 35% compared to conventional tablet-coating systems, yielding significant cost savings and improved efficiency. It provides superior coating uniformity, producing considerably fewer rejects and using less coating material. The manufacturer’s patented air-flow bed technology eliminates spray drying and reduces waste. The tablet coater’s elongated coating pan provides a larger tablet-spraying surface, which accommodates up to 10 spray nozzles. This delivers more suspension solution and reduces overall coating time.

AP-300 dry material feeder

The AP-300 dry material feeder is available in volumetric and gravimetric configurations for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmetic applications involving feed rates from 0.5 kg/h to 150 kg/h. It is suitable for handling jet milling, continuous blending, medical-grade plastics compounding, packaging, coating, and ingredient weighing, as well as other applications that require quick disassembly.

Sintered Wire-Mesh Laminates

Products in this line of sintered (diffusion-bonded) multi-layer, woven-wire-mesh laminates are available in 48-in. by 48-in. sheets. They are designed for filtration, separation, screening, fluidization, and fluid-bed drying applications. Both the Poremet and Absolta models are diffusion-bonded 5-layer, surface-loading, rigid filter plates that are available with filter ratings ranging from 2 µm to 100 µm in Type 316L stainless steel and Hastelloy C-22. Their mesh layers are selected to achieve optimum levels of stability, fine-filtration capabilities, flowrate, and backwash properties.
