Fusion screen

The Fusion screen is constructed by robots that create repeatable and precise tensioning, tighter tolerances, smaller deviations, and uniform integral strain relief. Its integral gasket is paired with the strain relief and screen frame, all in one molded part; the one-piece center disc also includes an integral strain relief as a single molded part. The screens’ construction requires no silicone or adhesive because the mesh is fused into the screen frame and the center disc. They are available in 48-in. and 60-in. sizes.

BHS indexing vacuum belt filter

The BHS indexing vacuum belt filter measures 3.5 m wide and has 73.5 m2 of filter area in addition to a candle filter system. The belt filter performs filtration, washing and drying of high-value product in an alkaline slurry, while the candle filters recover fines and recombine them in the process for maximum product recovery. This technology enables production of thin cakes (as small as 5 mm) on a continuous basis.

grounding clamp for hazardous area applications

A grounding clamp specifically designed for hazardous area applications protects against static electricity build-up in mobile or portable equipment. The Bond-Rite clamp creates and continuously monitors a low-resistance connection to ground, providing visual verification through a flashing LED indicator. Though mobile and portable items, such as drums and other containers, are difficult to bond effectively, the Bond-Rite clamp is at home in even the most demanding applications.

Axius reverse-acting rupture disc

Designed to be used in aggressive chemical and pharmaceutical applications, the Axius reverse-acting rupture disc is available in corrosion-resistant materials and has the tightest tolerances available. The rupture disc can also operate without fatigue from full vacuum up to a 95% operating ratio for over 50,000 cycles. Using Fike’s new G2 Technology, the Axius rupture disc was developed without using traditional tooling methods, such as coining or scoring.

PS-4 process safety engineering course

PS-4 is a five-day process safety engineering course for upstream and midstream surface facilities engineers. It covers topics such as: historical incident and problem areas; risk analysis basics; process hazard analysis techniques; layers of protection; inherently safer design; hazards associated with process fluids; leakage and dispersion of hydrocarbon releases; combustion behavior of hydrocarbons; sources of ignition; hazards associated with specific plant systems; and plant layout and equipment spacing.

4823CX Series PC

The durable, lightweight 4823CX Series PC can withstand extreme temperatures in severe industrial and plant environments. It is equipped with a 15-in. LED-backlit LCD with a glass-on-glass resistive touch screen. It features a low-power Intel Atom processor, optional Bluetooth, GPS, speakers, camera, microphone, WiFi antenna, battery, and charger. Battery options include either a 115/230-V AC version or a 24-V DC version.

VeriCal in situ calibration verification system

The VeriCal in situ calibration verification system for gas and flare flow-meters enables technicians to confirm flow measurement accuracy in minutes — saving time and reducing operating costs. The system allows for the verification of flowmeter calibration without removing the meter from the pipe or process. It is suitable for flare gas applications in offshore oil and gas production and refining, as well as other applications where periodic validation of flowmeter calibration is required by the process or environmental regulations.

Hydraulic Hose Apps

Two new hydraulic applications optimize system performance and reduce downtime by monitoring hose service life and identifying replacement hose specifications. Gates Sentry IQ Service is a predictive maintenance app that monitors the pressure and temperature of a hydraulic assembly to gauge remaining hose life. The app is designed for equipment and processes in applications where unexpected hose failures can cause expensive downtime, compromise safety, and require costly repair and clean-up. It is suited for both new equipment designs and aftermarket oil production applications.

Martin Electric Screen Vibrator

The Martin Electric Screen Vibrator provides 7,700 lb of centrifugal force to sort or separate material. The explosionproof model has UL, cUL, and ATEX certification for use in hazardous locations around the world, and the high-strength cast aluminum cases are IP66-7 dust-tight and watertight. The dual-voltage units can be used in locations with different electrical power supply voltages. The vibrator features simple installation — bolt it in, wire it up, and turn it on — and low maintenance, requiring only periodic lubrication of the long-life cylinder roller bearings.

Series 92 electric actuator

The Series 92 electric actuator’s rugged construction, proven design, and customizable options make the device suitable for a variety of oil and gas applications, such as pipeline transmission and wellhead control. It features a die-cast aluminum alloy, thermally bonded powdercoat, Type 4X, 7 and 9 enclosure that is bolted together in two sections by eight M8 hex-head cap screws with fitted O-rings. The actuator has a permanently lubricated gear train and hardened-steel spur gears. Two end-of-travel limit switches are set mechanically via adjustable cams to open and closed positions.
