Resin Mixer

This epoxy-resin mixing unit can process many advanced composite resins with viscosities to 15,000 cP in its hoist-mounted dual-shaft mixer. It is equipped with a consolidated operator control station and electric heating system that helps maintain temperatures between 140 and 200°F. Its customized, explosion-resistant housing over the jacketed tank provides operational safety.

Pressure Blowers

These cast aluminum pressure blowers are ideal for providing low-volume, high-pressure air for cooling, ventilating, and exhaust systems that handle dust, materials or corrosive fumes. These direct-drive (TPD) or belt-driven (TPB) blowers feature heavy-duty cast aluminum housings with cast aluminum wheels for extra long life and trouble-free service.  Capabilities include: airflow capacities to 4,400 ft3/min and static pressures to 20 in. w.g

Vortex HDP slide gate

The Vortex HDP slide gate handles non-abrasive to abrasive powders, granules and pellets. It isolates pressures up to 5 bars (75 psig) depending on size and will not leak to atmosphere or across the valve. The maintenance-friendly HDP slide gate contains a displacement pocket that reduces/eliminates material packing as the blade closes.

SDX spray drying nozzle

The compact SDX spray drying nozzle features a new positively retained swirl chamber and orifice disc and a unique flow distribution design in-built to the swirl chamber. The nozzle is extremely short — less than 38 mm (1.50 in.) Unlike the firm’s Mini SDX, it is user-friendly and requires  no tools are required for assembly. The new swirl chamber features a unique flow distribution design and the matching orifice assembly uses a retained O-ring feature.

Outside Face Seal

The outside face seal (OFS) is ideal for the containment of vapors in vertical-shaft vessels and can operate without a purge or flush system. It is particularly suited for top-entry agitators, where long, cantilevered shafts can exhibit high runout and angular misalignment. The OFS will permit significant axial motion, making it ideal for applications where there is shaft float and thermal expansion. The seal is available unsplit or fully split, and in a wide variety of materials combinations for maximum compatibility with acids, bases and aromatic hydrocarbons.
