Many companies across the industrial sectors are hiring data scientists and vendors to help harness the latest in AI to provide predictions and insights about pending maintenance for their assets. However, implementing useable solutions with AI at its core is more challenging than traditional expert based systems and software. In this presentation, Jim Eskew from SparkCognition will discuss what AI predictive analytics models are, how they are built and how they differ from expert models, and give a guide to the key elements to successfully deploy AI-based solutions. As part of his presentation, Jim will demo select functionality developed by SparkCognition which has been deployed and used by operators to reduce production disruptions and mitigate safety risks.
