This session will feature emerging work at the interface of hybrid biotic and abiotic systems as well as cutting-edge efforts in cell-free expression systems. Applications span the design of living materials and bioelectronic devices, accelerated study of protein-protein interactions, glycoprotein synthesis, improved bacterial transformation, and increased longevity of cell-free sensing and diagnostic platforms.
