Energy and Sustainability Award — Nominations Extended to April 18

The Awards Committee of AIChE has extended the nomination deadline for one of the Institute’s major awards for contributions to industry.

April 18 is the new nomination deadline for the Institute’s 2016 Energy and Sustainability Award. This honor, sponsored by Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., is given to individuals in industry, teams from industry, or entire companies who have accomplished significant energy savings, improved the sustainability of chemical processes, or developed innovative technologies for energy generation or delivery that hold significant promise of favorable economic or environmental impact.

The award carries a prize of $7,500, contributed by Air Products, and will be presented at the Honors Ceremony during AIChE’s 2016 Annual Meeting, November 13–18, in San Francisco, California.
