Automation-Empowered Arrayed CRISPR Screens

The growing demand for clinically relevant drug discovery models has accelerated the adoption of CRISPR-based genome editing. However, performing arrayed CRISPR screens in translatable cell models—such as primary cells and iPSCs—has been constrained by high costs, large cell input requirements, and donor variability. To overcome these challenges, we present an automated microfluidic platform that dramatically reduces cellular input from millions to just thousands of cells per edit while maintaining high transfection and editing efficiency. This lowers reagent costs, increases throughput, and ensures consistent biological outcomes.
