The Role of Inline Particle Analysis in Process Optimization

Engineers need to characterize particle properties effectively in order to solve processing problems and ensure product quality. In recent years, new online technologies have emerged as alternatives to traditional methods of sampling and offline analysis. In-process measurement approaches, which describe particle size and count in real-time, can provide continuous information about how particles behave under changing process conditions, allowing engineers to understand and optimize difficult processes using evidence-based methods.
